By now you should know the sort of writing that I expect from you in your blog posts. I want to give you some freedom this unit, and allow you to blog about things that you are noticing or observing. Talk about characters, your reactions/opinions, whatever you find interesting!

Read: Finish the book today! Chapters 9, 10, and epilogue.
Blog Post:
Pull up/take out the predictions we made, and the questions we wanted answered at the beginning of the book. Respond to three predictions or questions. Were you right/wrong? Did your question get answered? Were you satisfied?
We will discuss the ending of the book as a class, and share our blog posts with one another.
Use this discussion as a review for the test on Thursday, March 7.

Midway through CH 9, we see that David has been bounced around from many different foster homes. Describe/list the foster homes that David has lived in. Which foster home do you think is the best for David. Why? Which foster home do you think is the worst for David? Explain why by using examples.

Tell me everything you notice about David's time with the Catanze family so far. How is it different from his time with his mother? What are some of the major differences? Do you agree that the title of this chapter should be "New Beginnings"?
